What does a perfect-fitting pair of glasses feel or look like? You shouldn’t be getting small aches around your ears and marks on the sides of your nose if your glasses fit properly as this would indicate that they’re fitting a little too tight. The width of the frame shouldn’t be much wider than your cheekbones or certainly the temples, to ensure the frames are flattering to your face. There are a few other things you should look at when choosing the right fit:
We’ve got hundreds of frames to suit all shapes, tastes and pockets! Plus, we add new styles every month, so you’ll be spoilt for choice. Pop in to the store and browse our vast range – our frame stylists will be happy to help you find your perfect frames.
Our lenses always include a scratch-resistant treatment as standard. But we’ve also got a great range of extras and treatments that will help to protect or enhance your lenses. Have a look at the specialised lenses we offer, below.
Our instore experts will help you choose the perfect lenses and depending on your condition you may be prescribed glasses that have either single focus lenses, bifocal lenses (for distance and reading), varifocal lenses (clear vision at all distances) or occupational lenses (for computer use and reading).
We’ll also explain the options available to you and the added lens enhancements which could protect your glasses or further improve your vision.
Our online eye health test is a great way to identify potential issues or just confirm that everything is actually ok. Take this two minute test and if you’re concerned in any way, you can book an eye test appointment or call and speak to our qualified optical people.
